Are you looking for a way for your child to get some physical exercise, learn the value of teamwork and have fun!!

The Dalby Rugby Union encourage you to consider getting your child involved in the Juniors competition.  The season runs from April through to August.

Registration is $120 per player and includes player insurance, socks and shorts.  Jerseys are provided for each week’s play and returned at the end of the season.  Players are covered under the ARU  player insurance and player registration with Downs Rugby. Training is on Wednesday afternoons at the Rugby grounds from 3.30pm and games are on a Saturday. The Dalby Junior Wheatmen have teams from Under 6s through to Under 12s.

The teams play no-tackling in under 6s and under 7s so they get used to ball skills and running up (more like a game of touch footy).

If you’d like to find out more please contact our Junior Representative John McGrath on 0429 680 032 or come along and try rugby for free at one of our training days.

Our club has been registered for the Queensland Governments Sport and Recreation Program, Get Started. This means eligible children and young people can apply online for a Get Started voucher valued up to $150 to help pay the cost of their membership fees at our club.

Individuals eligible to apply for a voucher are children and young people aged five to 18 years, who hold or whose parent, carer or guardian holds a Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and who are residents of Queensland.
